Oh, die Grote Beer.

1. Hij bouwt vallen. Elke dag een nieuwe en elke keer is hij er van overtuigd dat dit de allerbeste en heeft hij bijvoorbaat al enorme lol als hij beschrijft hoe de boef in de val loopt en hoe dat er dan uitziet. Dit is de allerbeste goeiste mam!
2. Dachten we dat Zus het bont maakte doordat ze bijna nooit rokjes aan wilde, Grote Beer maakt er elke dag een heel spektakel van dat hij coole kleren aan moet. Bij voorkeur een korte broek met een t-shirt, deze woorden vallen minstens 1x per week, maar nu wij voet bij stuk houden geeft hij toe aan lange broeken en shirts met lange mouwen. Maar, de zomergympen zijn het coolst en deze gaan bij voorkeur vergezeld met een trainingsjasje. Ben benieuwd of het weer uiteindelijk meer overtuigingskracht heeft dan wij.
3. Het fietsfilmpje is het bewijs dat hij ooit stoer zonder wieltjes rondfietste. Maar verder lijkt het erop dat hij weer bijna terug bij af is. Hij leerde het al maanden geleden, maar op- en afstappen, bochten, auto's op de weg of dichtbij plaats van vertrek dan wel aankomst zijn allemaal redenen dat hij toch weer een handje in de rug nodig heeft. 
4. En helemaal onderaan deze post zie je de laatste lach van Grote Beer op het ijs. In het halve uur op het Veluwemeer dat volgde, hebben we hem alleen horen verlangen naar vaste grond onder de voeten, terug naar de auto en niet op de slee. Hij kreeg zijn praatjes weer terug, toen we ontdooiden in ons bad.

Hij weet wat ie wil en hij komt er.

Oh Big Bear.

1. He's building traps, every day a new one. And each day he's convinced that this is really the bestest and the worst for all the thieves. 
2. We thought Sister was a sight with her dressing statements, having to wear skirts every single day, but now Big Bear outdoes her. He has to be 'cool' and in his opinion that is: wearing shorts and shirts. We or rather the weather convinced him finally that it's really time to lengthen the cloths, but the summershoes and the training jacket still are his favourites. This week, with all the snow, the shoes were soaking wet, which finally made him wear snowboots.
3. This cycling film is a proof that once, some months ago, Big Bear was the proud King of the Road. Nothing compared to the kid that now sees excuses for us pushing him in every stage of the route: getting on and off the bike, curves in the road, snow, cars, being near from where we leave, reaching the end of the trip and even a long stretch in front of him. 
4. And yesterday we were on the ice and this was the last smile we saw of him: the rest of the half hour we spent there, he was trying to convince us to go off the sleigh, of the ice, into the car. Even with his big nephew and sister there to show him how to have fun in the cold wearing skates. He finally thawed in the bath tub and there his smile returned.

He knows what he wants and he knows how to get there.
